About the Trust

A platform for India's consumer movement

An aware consumer is the first requirement of an exploitation-free India. Grahak Sewa Pratishthan was formed to give the nation's consumer movement a platform for enlightenment, guidance and expression.

As a public charitable trust, we work for consumer protection, education, research and training — without discrimination of religion, caste, community or gender.

Become capable, serve the nation, deliver justice.

Why It Matters

The law exists. The awareness does not.

Despite the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, most consumers remain unaware of their rights, the complaint process and the remedies available to them.

  • Consumer fraud is rising — digital and e-commerce complaints grow fast.
  • Rural & weaker sections are deprived of legal aid.
  • Trained consumer activists are the need of the hour — and that is what we build.
